What a monthly utility bill includes.

Estimate water, wastewater, solid waste, and stormwater charges using the City's published rates. This is an estimate, not a bill. It uses the standard 5/8-inch or 3/4-inch residential water meter and the 2027 rates effective January 1, 2027.

01 / Estimate

Enter monthly water use.

Wastewater volume is estimated at the lesser of your water use or 12,000 gallons, a simplification of the City's winter-average rule.

The City bills water volume per 1,000 gallons in increasing blocks.
Impervious area means hard surfaces such as roofs and driveways.
Included: water and wastewater service charges, volume charges, stormwater, residential solid waste base rate, and the $1 monthly Disaster Recovery Fee.

  • Does not include out-of-city rates, irrigation meters, multi-family, commercial, or fire-line service charges.
  • Does not include penalties, late fees, additional carts, bulk pickup, or other service charges.
  • Rates are the 2027 schedule; confirm the current bill with the City.
